We start our photographic tour by picking you up at the airport. Get ready for our first day in which we will spend night near Busse Lake in a tent camp. This is a real journey into the amazing world of marine fauna and flora - one of the most significant natural monuments of Sakhalin.
In addition to oyster gathering, you will have a catamaran ride on the lake. You will see oysters in their natural habitat there.
Our chef will cook sea delicacies, such as true whelks, hairy crab and oysters.
We will rest by the fire and have an overnight stay in comfortable and equipped tents.

Two capes - Ptichy (Birds’ Cape) and Velikan (Cape Giant) - are real treasures of the island. Their atmosphere is capable of energizing and inspiring. Sakhaliners themselves are confused, calling the two capes by one name - Velikan (Giant). In 1990 the capes received the title of monuments of nature. They are under the protection of the state.
Cape Velikan got its name because of its huge stone pillars, resembling giants, guarding the island. According to a legend, the gods turned the giants into stone pillars for their irrepressible disposition.
Cape Ptichy has a self-explanatory name. It is home to a great number of seabirds, including rare and red book species. The sound of waves dashing against the steep rocks and the cries of birds create a unique atmosphere of wild nature.
During the times of the Japanese occupation, an observation base was built here. Now there are only ruins left of it, adding mysticism and mystery to the place.
Both capes are places of power, where nature and history are woven together. A visit to these places will put you into the mysterious world of Sakhalin, will let you learn its history and feel its soul.

After the excursion we will return to the camp, have dinner and rest.

And now we shall go on an unforgettable journey to the Aniva Lighthouse, included in the list of the most enigmatic and amazing places on our planet. It is located on the southernmost point of Aniva Bay.
A car will take us to the village of Novikovo, where after a briefing and safety precautions, we will get into a boat. We advise you to dress warmly and better in waterproof clothes. The sea trip will last for 2 hours.
Aniva Lighthouse is 31 meters tall and it is made of concrete. It was designed by Miura Shinobu, a Japanese engineer. This construction has not been used for many years according to its intended purpose. Now it keeps the historical silence among the raging waves, and receives tourists.
After the tour at the lighthouse, we will take a boat to Mramornaya (Marble) Bay. There you will see beautiful waterfalls and have a rest before the return road. Here we provide a little meal and hot tea.

In the evening we will return to the camp and have a rest.

Cape Eustathia is not just a mere geographical point on the map. It is a picturesque place where every stone, rustling of surf and winds tell their own stories. They can be funny, with a touch of melancholy in them, or be filled with pure delight. Which of the stories will you learn?
On the way to the cape, we will make a stop beside the blue lakes. This tourist destination in Novikovo is man-made. Previously, there was a coal open mine in their place during the times of the Soviet Union. The mine was closed and the open pit got filled with rainwater. The turquoise color of the water is given to it by sulfosalts and germanates. Bathing in the lakes is prohibited, but at least we will take beautiful pictures instead!
After reaching Cape Eustathia and climbing the 51-meter-high mountain, a majestic view opens up for us to see. This panorama creates a feeling of flight! We will see Cape Pavlovich and Cape Aniva from here.
The water is so crystal clear that you can easily see the sea bottom. And looking around, breathing in the salty air from the sea, you will feel how beautiful and diverse our life is!
Day four is the final in our photographic tour around the wonderful sites of the island.
